During these three days we will cover how to assemble/disassemble, clean and care for our fragile instrument and reeds. Beginning students will work directly with their private instructor, Dr. Onieal to also learn proper instrument position, posture, and embouchure (mouth shape).

Students will meet other bassoonists from the Onieal Bassoon Studio and will also work with older students from their own school. This camp is only offered to those entering Canyon Ridge, Danielson, Four Points, and Walsh Middle Schools. The material covered here would usually be covered in the first three private lessons, so this is a great opportunity to get a head start at a challenging but rewarding instrument! 

To give flexibility to families two different time sessions are offered. You will choose one time that will be the same over the three days of camp.
